He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Franklin Windham and Mildred Lela King Windham; his wife Tess Windham; his children, Jimmie Windham (Maria) of Greenville, AL and Jamie Bass (Joe) of St. Petersburg, FL; and his grandchildren, Jayde Windham and Jewel Windham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
