He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Beth Huston (John) of Marietta and Kaye Shields (Greg) of Clanton; his close friend Mary Black of Evergreen; his niece Kathy Altvator of Omaha; his nephew Rudy Altvator of Omaha; and his grandchildren, Grace Huston, Joey Huston, Megan Shields and Jared Shields.
