She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest N; her brother Bobby Lee Ward; her children, Judy Braxton Bailey and Mickey Braxton (Maxine); her grandchildren, Melissa Baily (Barrett Porter), Elizabeth Braxton Buchanan (Hucks), Wendy Bailey Stewart (Matt), Emily Braxton Bailey (Chris) and Michael Braxton; and her great grandchildren, Conner Buddin, Montgomery Buddin (Melissa), Hannah Hollis, Luke Hollis, Molly Buchanan, Walker Buchanan (Elizabeth), Bailee Powers, Jackson Stewart, Owen Stewart (Wendy) and Brooke Bailey (Emily).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that contributions can be made in Hazel's memory to Southern Care Hospice, 116 Edwina Street, Evergreen, AL. 36401.
