He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavonne and Clarence. He is survived by: his daughter Katie Ward Allen of Birmingham, AL; his son-in-law Will Allen; his granddaughters, Kate and Annie; his siblings, Arthur Dean Ward (Artie), Sheila Ward-Adcock, Sandra Ward Clifton and Susan Ward Davies; his stepmother Carolyn Hutcheson Ward; and his aunt Bobbie Hutcheson. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
