She was predeceased by: her husband Percy Stuart; and her parents, Napoleon Edison and Vera Otis Hughes Edison. She is survived by: her children, Vastine Stuart (Sharon), Barry Stuart, Ellen Garrett (David) and Carlos Stuart (Tammy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous other extended family.
