We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2020, at the age of 100, Edward Smith of Evergreen, Alabama, born in Enterprise, Alabama passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward Smith to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Wall; his children, Dorothy Sharyn Nunn (David), Ed Smith, Jr. (Deena) and Daniel Reggie Smith (Patricia); his grandchildren, Stephen Tyron Nunn (Brett), Lincoln Edward Smith (Katrina), Elizabeth Sandlin Green (Taylor), Daniel Cory Smith (Silvia) and Louis Cody Smith (Kasie); and his great grandchildren, Sawyer Smith, Ryland Nunn, Crowder Smith, Ella Claire Green, William Walker Green and Ellianna Estelle Smith.

In 1985 he was chosen by the Eisenhower Foundation to represent an exchange of ideas in energy with the Chinese Government in Beijing.
