He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Zellers Shell; his parents, Robert Lofton Shell and Daisy Cole Shell; and his siblings, Robert Lee Shell and Evelyn Tatum.
He is survived by: his daughter Renee Richardson (Matt) of Evergreen, AL; his brother Jettie Shell of Evergreen, AL; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Richardson and Taylor Richardson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cope-Keahey Funeral Home Chapel (705 Perryman St, Evergreen, AL 36401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
