With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Earsie Delchamps of Evergreen, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Gene Delchamps; her parents, Henry Walter Ward and Verla Coburn Ward; and her siblings, William Ward, Clint Ward, Lavar Ward, Paul Ward, Ward, Bunie Winn, Gladys Lancaster and Willie Mae Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Curtis Delchamps (Shannon) of Loganville, GA and Barbara Holth (Bill); and her sisters, Anna Merrill of Florala, Doris Conner of Savannah, GA and Josephine Powell of Mobile. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Methodist Church (118 Desplous St, Evergreen, AL 36401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
