She was predeceased by: her husband John K. Gibson, Jr.; her parents, William Henry and Bertha Loftin Davis of Fort Deposit, AL.; her brother Henry Wesley Davis; and her sister-in-law Frances D. Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Rita G. Smith (Larry) and Gary K. Gibson (Liz); her grandchildren, Jennifer Wright (Artie), Pam Brown (Danny), Jonathan Smith (Monica), Amy Gibson and Kin Gibson (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Kaleb Wright, LaKyn Brown, Logan Brown, Delilah Smith, Lambert Smith, Annabelle Smith, Benjiman Smith, Nick Gibson and Joe Gibson.
