She is survived by: her husband Septra Powell of Evergreen; her children, James Powell of Evergreen and Angela Salemi (Hector) of Evergreen; her grandchildren, Matt Salemi and Ella Rose Salemi; her siblings, Phyllis Bush (Ray) of McKenzie, Bobby Bush of McKenzie, Farron Bush of McKenzie, Paul Bush Friendship (Carol), Ken Bush (Glynn Shelfer) of Daytona Beach, FL and Charlie Bush of Evergreen; and her sisters-in-law, Patsy Bush of Evergreen and Sandra Bush of Georgiana.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cope-Keahey Funeral Home (705 Perryman St, Evergreen, AL 36401-1945). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cope-Keahey Funeral Home Chapel (705 Perryman St, Evergreen, AL 36401-1945). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Arkadelphia Baptist Church (6396 Loree Rd, Evergreen, AL 36401).
