She is survived by: her sisters, Joanne, Prather and Frances Frakes; her brother-in-law Sumpter McGowin; and her children, Knud Nielsen III (Cheryl), Claude Beeland Nielsen (Kate) and Kristin Nielsen Koepfgen (Bruce). She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
