She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Ward and Nonie Ward of Dozier, AL.; her former husband R. Lynn Brooks of Evergreen, AL; her son Greg Brooks of Cleveland, TN; her husband Dr. Roy Couch of Brewton, AL; and her siblings, Roy Ward, Navada Ward of Birmingham, AL. and Francis Christy of Birmingham, AL..
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Donna Fuller Brooks Hulsey of Cleveland, TN; her sister-in-law Doris Ward of Birmingham, AL; and her stepchildren, Alan Couch (Sharon) of Brewton, AL and Ann Couch Crosby (Larry) of Brew. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grand children, a great-great grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She lost her precious partner, Roy, after 23 years of marriage, during the Covid epidemic.
Memorials may be given to Brilla Soccer Ministried (a ministry to reach begun by her grandson, Rusty).
