He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Holmes and Margie Fairydell McDonald Holmes; and his wife Nellie Dean Holmes. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Adkins, Betty, Dorothy and Kathy; and his sisters, Imogene and Marie. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
