Stella Richards Stephens Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2025, at the age of 99, Stella Richards Stephens of Eutaw, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Richards and Lillian Strait Richards; her husband John C. Stephens, Sr.; and her siblings, Marge, Zip, Georgia, Dot, Ethel, Bill and Dickie.
She is survived by: her stepmother Mary Dickie Richards; her sons, John C. Stephens, Jr. (Nancy) of Grove City, OH and Joe D. Stephens of Fort Pierce, FL.; her grandchildren, Amy, John B., Philip (Michelle), Matthew (Renee) and Nathan (Alexandra); and her great grandchildren, Luke, Phoebe, Elijah, Peter, Isaac, Nathan, Asher, Haley, Alex, Layla, Noelle and Noah. She is also survived by one great-great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mesopotamia Cemetery.
