We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2023, at the age of 83, Mary Elizabeth Peddycoart of Eutaw, Alabama, born in West Greene, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Forrest Moore; her siblings, Roy A. Gay, John Clyde Gay, Ervin W. Gay, James O. Gay, Sr. and Margaret J. Wilburn; and her parents, Irving Augusta Gay and Audrey Bland Burton Gay.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah F. Woods (David Mathis) and Donna S. Hopson; her sister Marvis L. "Sissy" Wilburn; her granddaughters, Brittany Gaye Woods Bryant and Audrey Michelle Godwin; and her great grandchildren, Emilee Autum Godwin, Kaitlin Elizabeth Bryant, Dalton Lane Godwin, Jenna Nicole Bryant and Raelyn James Boone.
