He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lashley and Martha Lashley; his wives, Ellen Lashley and Florence Lashley; and his sisters, Claudine Rhodes, Martha Grantham and Faye Beams.
He is survived by: his children, Bridget McCool (Jeff) and James Brent Lashley (Terri); his siblings, Evelyn Gay, Mary Jane Porter and Willice Lashley (Connie); his grandchildren, Brenna Lavender (Webb), Nikki Taylor (Bradley), Katie McCool, Tyler Blair and Kristen Blair; his great grandchild Cullen Lavender; and his pets, Sadie and Hobo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
