He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Louise "Bebe" Williams Collins and Mayor Ernest Wilson "Rainy" Collins, Jr.; and his sisters, Carolyn Collins Ingle and Louise Collins. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Presley Collins; his children, Laura Collins Lee, Holly Kate Collins and Roger Dale Bunn; his granddaughters, Ivie Kate Lee and Rainy Gene Lee; his niece Meredith Ingle; his nephew Chip Ingle; and his grandchildren, Abby Jackson and Trey R. Jackson, III (Samuel).
