He was predeceased by: his father Barney Bruce; and his grandparents, Gene, Nettie Leigh Livingston, Howard and Pearl Turner.

He is survived by: his mother Brenda Joyce; his wife Karen; his children, Karlie (Tim) and Kade; his grandchildren, Jace, Jana, Micah and Abbey; and his sister Diane Hilliker (Chris). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ridgecrest Baptist Church Building Fund in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
