He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jasper Gillenwater and Ila Mae Griggers Gillenwater; and his siblings, Steven Shafara, Raymond Davis, James Gillenwater and Deborah Dickson.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Gail Akers; his children, Chance Cail and Melinda Gayle Weaver; his siblings, Calvin Lee Davis (Lenora), Saundra Pate and Pat Hartley; and his pet Bandit.
