She was predeceased by: her father Edward Rufus; her husband Dennis Earl Shirley; and her sons, Steve Allen Shirley, Brian Keith Shirley and Christopher Duane DeLancey.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennie Shirley (Carol) of Eufaula and Jerry DeLancey (LaNae) of Millbrook, Alabama. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
