With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jasper Carey Hammond of Eufaula, Alabama, born in Georgetown, Georgia, who passed away on December 26, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Carey Hammond; and his siblings, Wayne Anderson Hammond and Erna Diane Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Melba Phillips Hammond; his daughters, Sherry Hammond Sellers (Jack) of Eufaula and Kristy Hammond Saylor (Bryan) of Eufaula; his grandchildren, Kirbee Vickers and Jim Vickers (Katie Walden); and his great grandchild Keylee Nolin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
