He was predeceased by: his parents, Odis Dansby and Mildred Louise Anderson Dansby; his former wife Linda Jenkins; his siblings, Jerry Dansby and Mary Lee; and his nephews, David Guilford, Jeff Dansby and Heath Merritt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Dansby of Fort Knox and Misty Cordell (Kenny) of Radcliff, Kentucky; his siblings, Johnny Dansby (Beth) of Eufaula, Larry Dansby (Dianne) of Dothan, Alabama, Diane Trousdale (Rhett) of Clayton, Glenda Merritt of Clayton and Linda Holland (Freddy) of Eufaula, Alabama; his grandchildren, Sydney Lamberth, Shelden Blankenship (Hunter), Megan Wood, Corey Wood and Lexie Wood; and his great grandchildren, Jak Seward, Hayden Forshee, Ryland Forshee, Laken Forshee, Ella Blankenship, Riley Wood and Zachary Parrish II.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel (3121 S Eufaula Ave, Eufaula, AL 36027). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Friendly Assembly of God (35 Cooper Rd, Clayton, AL 36016).
