He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taft Riickert and Goldia Lee Jefferson; his wife Renate Wines Riickert; and his brothers, Gary Dale Riickert and William Eugene Riickert.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Riickert (Lisa) of Crawfordsville, FL, Stephanie Easterwood (Leslie) of Talladega, AL and Maria McGilvary (Craig) of Eufaula, AL; and his siblings, Freddie David Riickert (Velma) of Cynthiana, KY, Linda Faye Dobbs (James) of Hartselle, AL and Carolyn Lee Shaw (John) of Maysville, KY. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
