He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Morrison and Evelyn Morrison; and his brother J. W. Morrison. He is survived by: his wife Alice Barger Morrison; his son Jordan E. Morrison; his stepdaughters, Jackie Taylor (Greg) and Bethany Miller (James); his grandchildren, Brandon Barger, Jacob Taylor (Breanna), Austin O'Brien, Jenna Rodrigue (Byront), Kathryn Miller, Anna Miller and Maggie Miller; his great grandchildren, Carson Barger and Colton Barger; and his sisters, Sybil Sealy (Benny), Sarah Crocker (John), Sandy Bowen (Ronnie) and Sonya Hewitt. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
