He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Buchanan; his daughter Bonnie Sparks (Kebo); his stepdaughter Angela Campbell (Larry); his son Ricky Buchanan (Susan); his stepson Robert Hocutt (Linda); his sister Joanne Astin (Jim); and his close friends, Earl and Aretha Williams. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
