He was predeceased by: his father Marion Thomas Porterfield, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Linda Christine McLaney Brooks (Max); his brothers, John Walter Porterfield (Tatiana), Thomas Porterfield, Mike Brooks (Candy) and Tim Brooks (Jennifer); his grandmother Mary McLaney; and his close friend Lacey Raper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
