It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Carol Shepherd of Ethelsville, Alabama, born in Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on October 9, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Mae Richardson Bailey and Vester Bailey; her former husband Jackie Tilley; and her children, Michelle Porter and Brian Tilley.
She is survived by: her husband James Shepherd of Ethelsville, AL; her children, Daphne Tilley of Columbus, MS and Earnest Tilley of Ethelsville, AL; and her siblings, George Ashmore, Malcolm Ashmore, Johnnie Mae Newman and Lorene Burks. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
