She was predeceased by: her husband Ellis Turnipseed; her siblings, Charles "Bill" Duncan, Odis Duncan, Bobby Gene Duncan, Delores Shaw and Virginia Shaw; and her parents, Roy Belcher Duncan and Eula Peeks Duncan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Pate, Susan Cowart and Lori Baines (Jason); her grandchildren, Amanda Pate, Ashleigh Clay (Kasey), Austin Pate, Lucas Baines, Lance Baines and Libby Baines; her great grandchildren, Dalton Crowe and John Ellis Clay; her sisters, Elizabeth Hudson and Faye Oglesby; and her siblings-in-law, Eunice Duncan and Searcy Mullenix.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the McShan Community Center, 36 Price Road, Gordo, AL 35466.
