He was predeceased by: his siblings, Warren, Robert Floyd, Eugene, James Edward, Marvin, Dan Turnipseed, Laura May Bigford and Cherry Mullenix; and his parents, Edward A. Turnipseed and Clemence Gore Turnipseed.
He is survived by: his wife Josie Duncan Turnipseed; his daughters, Lisa Pate, Susan Cowart and Lori Baines (Jason); his grandchildren, Amanda Pate, Ashleigh Clay (Kasey), Austin Pate, Lucas Baines, Lance Baines and Libby Baines; and his great grandchild Dalton "Buck" Crowe.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the McShan Community Center or to a charity or church of your choice.
