It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas A Collum of Ethelsville, Alabama, born in Franklin, Alabama, who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Delmar Collum; and his son James Benefield. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Collum; his daughters, Suzanne Ballard of Stockton, AL and Beth Pless (Tim) of Caledonia, MS; his siblings, Jimmie Collum Roper of Columbus, OH, Renee Collum of New Berlin, NY, Charles Collum of Borrego Spring, CA and Frank Collum of Ethelsville, AL; his grandchildren, Brittany Lewis (Chris) and Christopher Benefield (Mallory); and his great grandchildren, Cali Lewis, Cayson Benefield, Averie Benefield, Remi Lewis and Jaxon Benefield. He is also survived by numerous aunts uncles and cousins.
