He is survived by: his wife Virginia Faye Tubbs Cox; his daughters, Jacqueline Cox Langford (Rick) and Karen Deann Cox Fleming (Bill); his grandchildren, April MacLane (Michael), Lesli McCullough, Heather Foley, Mitchell Fleming (Shannon), Jennifer Mobley (Alan), Bobby Scott (Natalie), Andrew Fleming (Caitlin), Ricky Langford (Cassie), Hanna Mathieu (Alex), Zachary Fleming and Spencer Fleming; and his brothers, Tony A. Cox (Jan), John L. Cox (Sherry), Danny L. Cox (Suzanne) and Joe G. Cox (Charlet). He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
