He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Hollinhead; and his parents, Charles Hollinhead and Carolyn Hollinhead. He is survived by: his children, Clayton Hollinhead (Elise) of Vestavia Hills, AL, Lisa Kraus (Bryan) and Alison Hollinhead of Enterprise, AL; his former wife Collette Hollinhead; his brothers, Wayne Hollinhead of Toney, AL and Mark Hollinhead of Oklahoma City, OK.; and his friend Don Wyzlic of Daleville, AL.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
