He is survived by: his wife Loretta McPherson; his son Perry McPherson, Jr.; and his siblings, Geraldine Barksdale (William) of Maryland, Judy Whitehurst (Kopy) of Virginia, Mary Frances McPherson of Virginia and Phillips McPherson (Catherine) of Georgia.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350).
