He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Frank Thomas, Doris Thomas (Jack), Adelaida Miller and George A. Vidal, Sr. (Erme); his uncle William Thomas; his aunt Linda Thomas; his brother-in-law Robert C. Scheetz, Jr.; his stepfather Jerrell Jeffcoat; and his close friend Paul Frusha.
He is survived by: his parents, George A. Vidal, Jr. (Cindy) and Doreen Jeffcoat; his sisters, Jennifer Scheetz (Scott) and Natalie Neuwien (Skip); his nieces, Sammie, Sarabeth and Sydney Neuwien; his aunt Carol Bloom; and his uncle Vidal.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory (1301 Neal Metcalf Rd, Enterprise, AL 36330).
In honor of Matt's love for animals, the family requests memorial donations be made to S.O.S Animal Shelter, 25944 Highway 134 E, Enterprise, AL 36330, in lieu of flowers.
