She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Brown and Mildred Helms Brown; her son Gregory Petry; and her husband Robert McDonald. She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Byrd (Lisa) and Jeffrey Petry (Sandra); her sister Modrey Strength (Grady); her grandchildren, Sarah Herrera, Adam Petry, Regina, Richard, Jason Throop and Jason Petry; and her great grandchildren, Jason, Eleanor Throop, Trent, Gabby Petry, Katherine, Lucas, Kourtney Throop, Olivia and Norah Herrera.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory (4550 Boll Weevil Cir, Enterprise, AL 36330). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Enterprise, Alabama, 3902 County Road 610, Enterprise, Alabama 36330 or the Christian Mission Centers, 231 Geneva Highway, Enterprise, Alabama.
