He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Taylor and Bertha B. Gentry Taylor; and his siblings, Ray, Richard, Lavelle, Kenny, Donna Hoffman, Judy Rich and Sandra Heinold.
He is survived by: his children, Christine M. Miller (Jason) and Mathew D. Taylor (Marni Wooldridge); his grandchildren, Dakota Miller (Ashley) and Lexi Richards (Shane); his siblings, Robert Taylor (Kathy), Jimmie Dean Taylor (Janet), Mary Kay Woodard, Carol Payne (Homer) and Cheryl Ann Webb (Jim); and his family, Lula and Mike Haynes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Davis-Oswald Funeral Home (328 S Locust St, Tremont, IL 61568). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Tremont American Legion.
