He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Hamilton and Helen Stallings Talmadge; and his sister Armanda Talmadge Haigler. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Wilkes Talmadge of Enterprise, AL; his children, Victoria Talmadge Graham (Michael) of Nashville, TN, Keith Wilkes Sessions (Carlene) of Enterprise, AL and Joseph Daniel Talmadge, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Dothan, AL; his grandchildren, Mary Helen Graham Pollard (Michael), Michael Alan Graham, Jr. (Mollee), Molly Graham Lukić (Veljko), James Daniel Graham, Richard Wilkes Sessions, Parker Keith Sessions, Talmadge Royce Sessions, Winston Daniel Sessions, Harper Talmadge Stone (Robert), Elizabeth Talmadge Smith T (Henry), Helen Charbonnet Talmadge, Millicent Phyllis Talmadge and Joseph Daniel Talmadge, III; his great grandchildren, Leona Louise Graham, Amelia Royce Graham and Carolyn Victoria Pollard; his brother-in-law Edward David Haigler, Jr.; and his nephews, Edward David Haigler, III and Richard Hamilton Haigler.
