It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Florence McIntosh (Enterprise, Alabama), who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Calhoun and Mattie Calhoun; her grandmother Viola Sherrer of Enterprise, AL; her great grandchildren, Jack McIntosh of Loxley, AL and Kaeli Marie Ellis of St. Louis, MO; and her granddaughter Jennifer Ellis of Dothan, AL..
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Ellis (Dee) of Troy, MO, Kenny Ellis (Lisa) of Enterprise, AL, Wayne Ellis of Herman, MO, Richard Ellis of Dothan, AL, William Ellis (Joanna) of Huntsville, MO, Longley McIntosh (Sylvia) of Enterprise, AL, Julie Pruitt (Bill) of Enterprise, AL and Kim Knight (Steve) of Lawrenceburg, KY.; and her grandchildren, Marisa Wehmeier, Kara Ellis, Lindsey Ellis, Shelby Ellis, Brian Ellis, Jamie Ellis, Rebecca Ellis, Callie Hunt, Mike Ellis, Theo Sumnicht, Kayla Richards, Allison Lusby, Preston, Parker McIntosh, Brandon Perdue, Katie Lutterbie and Jeremy Knight. She is also survived by spouses, seventeen great-grandchildren, and eight siblings.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory (1301 Neal Metcalf Rd, Enterprise, AL 36330). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
