He is survived by: his sons, Michael Stump and Christopher Stump; his grandchildren, Addisyn and Kristin Stump; his great grandchild Cylas Stump; his sisters, Gail Cholensky (Larry), Vicki Dreistadt and Nancy Fortney (Chuck); his nephew David Fortney; and his nieces, Amanda and Samantha Dreistadt.

“Sending my deepest sympathies for the loss of Gary. He was a longtime friend and member of our church youth group at Cove United Methodist Church in Lakewood, OH. back in the 70’s. He and his family were very dear to our family back in our youth. Though years have gone by, we somehow managed to stay in touch, always exchanging Christmas cards at least. Gary was always a lively and caring man. I know he loved his family greatly. Gary will be deeply missed. Barb Smith Teubl”
