She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Joe and Ludie Kyser; her husband Harry J. Smith; her siblings, Kermit Kyser, Kernice Kyser, Tom Kyser and Evelyn Kelly; and her grandson Andrew Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Smith, Jerry Smith (Cathy) and Shirley Langford (Mike); and her siblings, Marie Keith, Linda McCart (Donny) and Cecil Kyser. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
