He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Christian "Slats" and Wilma Shaw Dickerson; and his brother Manuel W. Dickerson. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Dickerson Campbell of Anniston, AL and Michael Dickerson (Leanne) of Enterprise, AL. He is also survived by four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
