He was predeceased by: his parents, Rease Lee Tyree and Connie Mae Byrd Tyree; his sister Verna Ruth Tyree Wood; and his half-siblings, Ralph Hawthorne, Cecil Hawthorne, Wilburn Lee Tyree, Willard Tyree, Robert Buford "Bob" Tyree, Earline Hawthorne Mitchell and Mary Magdalene Tyree Padgett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Daphne Pridgen (Jeremy) of Flomaton, Tonya Rolin (Matt) of Flomaton and Dani Grant (David) of Flomaton; his half-siblings, Leon Hawthorne (Peggy) of Brewton and Ouida Richards of Pensacola, Florida; and his grandchildren, Deston Taylor (Liz), Colby Taylor, Remington Boutwell, Ridge Boutwell, River Boutwell and Asher Grant. He is also survived by Great-grandchildren.
