With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Shelton Abbott of Empire, Alabama, who passed away on May 23, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Bill Shelton and Ralph Abbott; her father James Jones Sr.; her siblings, James Jones Jr. and Roberta Logan; and her grandchildren, Priscilla and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Shelton (Darlene) of Alabama, Robert Shelton (LeeAnn) of Texas and Suzanne Johnson (Cam) of Alabama; and her siblings, Daniel Jones, David Jones of Texas and Rosemary Darr of Iowa. She is also survived by three grandchildren, six great grand children, and three great-great-grand-children.
