She is survived by: her children, Brandy Holt (Heath) of Empire and Jeremy Bates of Argo; her grandchildren, Cody Parr of Empire, Blair Bates of Empire, Blakely Bates of Empire, Jackson Holt of Empire, Lexi Holt of Empire, Cole Bates of Empire and Kensley Bates of Empire; and her siblings, Pat Motte of Cordova, Charlotte Simmons of Sumiton, Wayne Akers (Ginnie) of Sumiton, Stanley Akers of Cordova and Mike Akers of Empire. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
