He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Weldon and John D. Weldon; his son Randy Hicks; his daughter-in-law MaLeaha Hicks; and his siblings, John Wayne Weldon, Jenny Weldon, Tracy Weldon and Keith Weldon.
He is survived by: his children, Grace and Gregory Hicks; and his siblings, Jackie Wires (Fred), Charlene Weldon, Julie Hallman and Tammy Weldon (Charles).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bell Sumiton Chapel. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at the Dilworth Cemetery.
