He is survived by: his wife Louise Birmingham Higginbotham; his children, Richard (Donna) and Jasalynn (Troy); and his grandchildren, Scotty Vines (Heidi), Hunter Beaird (Sarra), Shayna Gurganus (Tony), Maghen Anderson (Ty), Kaitlynn Beaird, Jeffre Wingo (Brittany), Brittany Higginbotham, Jacob Vines, Kayla Phillips (Matt), Matilynn Laurent and Jaxon Wingo. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
