He was predeceased by: his parents, Harris McGriff and Viola McGriff; his parents-in-law, William and Rhoda Dozier; and his daughter Dawn McGriff.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Dozier McGriff; his children, Brantley McGriff and Keeley McGriff Burgess; his son-in-law Garrett Burgess; his sister Judy McGowin; and his siblings-in-law, David McGowin, Phillip Thomas and Kay Thomas. He is also survived by three nieces and nephews, and numerous other family members and friends.
The family requests that social distancing guidelines be observed, masks be worn, and that everyone dress comfortably.
