It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Georgette Virginia Calhoun of Elmore, Alabama, who passed away on December 10, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Carolyn Faye Armstrong; her parents, Lonnie Slauson and Alice Slauson; her sisters, Marie Henderson, Pat Brantley, Anna Slauson and Alice Mims; and her grandson Jody Armstrong.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Brantley (Paul) and Don Armstrong (Sandy). She is also survived by five grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; her brother.
