Dorothy Nell Carpenter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Nell Carpenter of Elmore, Alabama, who passed away on January 17, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Ray Carpenter; her parents, Ocie Cyle and Susie Gilliland McCullers; and her siblings, Cordelia Hawk, Joyce Ann McCullers, James McCullers, Noah McCullers, Lunie Hilyer, Lola Mae McCullers, Delphie Hilyer, Velma Fulmer, Carl McCullers, Rilla Dean Rooks and Marie Headley.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Ray Carpenter of Ellijay, GA and Jerry (June Evans Carpenter); her granddaughters, Leslie Rae Carpenter, Lynlee Maura Carpenter and Nashville; and her sister Earlean McCullers Goodman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the First Baptist Church Wetumpka Building Fund.
