He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wright Hicks and Clara Odell Coffman Hicks; his son Kelvin Wayne Hicks; his brother Billy Hicks; and his daughter-in-law Janet Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Ann Hicks; his children, Onnie Kyle (Mike), Bruce Hicks and Brandon Hicks (Penny); his grandchildren, Tom Hicks, Elise Clem, Corey Kyle and Colby Kyle; his great grandchildren, Eli Hicks and Emma Kate Whitehead; and his siblings, Jimmy Hicks, Rickey Hicks, Steve Hicks, Faye Lauderdale, Gayle Lorenzo and Jeanette Thornton.
